August Currently!

I am hooking up today with Farley from Oh'Boy 4th Grade.  I just L.O.V.E. her currently editions each month.  She cracks me up!  So, here we go!

Listening ~ I'm totally obsessed with the ZBB lately.  My family is like, "Seriously. Enough already!"  We have this strange gene in my family where we can listen to something over and over an not get sick of it, lol.  Well I definitely got that gene!  Wish I got the "skinny gene" instead!

Loving ~ Okay, this is more of a love/hate.  I love seeing all the pictures popping up lately of finished, perfect classrooms.  UGH!  I also secretly hate them!  I mean, seriously, did you check out Tunstall's Teaching Tidbits yet?  I want to hug her and hurt her all at the same time!  Honestly, I just love her ability to pull a room together.  Every year she out-does the year before.  Love her!

Thinking ~ Okay, now this one is a lil bit my fault.  I stress over everything.  Really....E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.!  So it may have been the last week in July when I began stressing that there was only 4 weeks left of summer for me (I go back 8/19).  Yes, I know!  I spend more time stressing than enjoying!  Well, I have only 2 weeks left now so I have every single day planned out so that I make sure I accomplish something this summer!  I think I'm going to paint the laundry room tomorrow.  Color suggestions????

Wanting ~ See above!

Needing ~ I have one day scheduled as a pamper-myself kind of day.  Facial, mani/pedi, etc.  Can't wait!  I'm going to my first kick-boxing class next week too.  That should pretty much ensure that I can't walk again until school starts!

1st Day ~ YIKES!  This is my first year in this position so I'm kind of clueless.  I'm a planner.....we DON'T like clueless! We like lists and neatly planned out activities.  This should be interesting!

Hope you enjoyed!  Don't forget to follow me on here, TpT and Facebook to get exclusive offers!

Head on back to Oh'Boy 4th Grade to read some of the other "Currently's".  Tootles~

  2. Wow you weren't kidding about Tunstall. I kinda want to be her when I grow up. :) I totally understand your stress. Fall is about 90% stress...And I would paint the room yellow. :)

  3. I love ZBB, too! Don't know that I could keep listening over and over again though. Haha!!! I'm so glad to have found your cute blog through Farley. Sounds like you're going to be way busy before school starts, so I'm glad you're taking that day for pampering. I'm on my way to check out Tunstalls Teaching Tidbits. Oh, and my laundry room is lime green. I never would have chosen that color. It's the way I bought it, but I absolutely LOVE it! I always need help with colors and decorating. I just wrote about that on my blog post! Hope you have a fab weekend! XO

  4. Good luck getting your classroom all set up! It seems every year we are always making big changes in our rooms! About the laundry color, my sister had a very small laundry room in an apartment in Chicago. She painted it bright pink! Kind of crazy, but it was really fun! Good luck!
