Whoa!!!!

Yes, I am still alive!

Let me first say I have NO idea how bloggers do it all.  I mean really, HOW do they do it???

My schedule:
    Leave for work:  7:30am
    Come home from work: 7:00pm
Grad Class Mon & Wed until 8:00
    Work from home:  7:00pm - 10:30pm
    Crawl into bed:  11:00pm

This is my schedule. E.V.E.R.Y.D.A.Y.!

My weekends are filled with running errands and doing laundry.  Oh, and catching up with my family in between doing lesson plans and making anchor charts.

This is my life!

So, how do these bloggers do it all?  How do they stay current with their blogs?  How do they come up with crafty little posts?  I'm a failure!  UGH!

Unfortunately, I have no cute, crafty idea for you.  Not today.

I will though.  I promise.  I swear!

Life has not been my own since my last post on August 30th.  I started teaching 5th grade Special Ed.  I moved from Kindergarten and while I LOVE it, it has been life-consuming.

I also made the conscious choice to take 2 grad classes this semester.  They are my last two then I'm DONE!!!!  I figured I'd rather be miserable for 3 months than really miserable for 9 months.  So I am just sucking it up and doing it.  Well, I did not realize these two professors would be the most paper-research-lovin' people on the planet!

5 more classes.  5 more classes.  I think I can, I think I can.

Life in Special Ed has been quite different.  I love my kids but it is a whole new way of teaching!  Not to mention, 5th grade material is a world of difference from the beginning sounds of Kindergarten.

So anyway, I have felt terrible guilt over not blogging.  I haven't even thought about a new product.  Seriously.  Not one.

I hope someone is even reading this.  Anyone.  And I hope that I am not drowning alone.  I secretly hope someone else is going through the same thing.  Not that I want anyone to drown.  You know what I mean!

Hopefully, I will post again with witty comments and fun, organizational pictures filled with wonderful, cutting-edge ideas.

Just not today!

  1. I read it, and I feel for you, because I have been there. I do believe there are many people in your same shoes because I have seen a huge reduction in posts from the blogs I follow. Just past when you can. And of course you can do it, you are almost there, so close! Good luck on your last few weeks! !

I just wanted to let you know that I nominated your blog for a 'Liebster Award' - please don't feel obliged to pass it on (or put any pressure on yourself to reply anytime soon...... it took me about a month to pass my nominations on!) but hopefully it a drives a little more traffic to your great blog :-)
